You spend 18 months or more planning one big day! If you’re anything like me planning your wedding is the biggest day slash event that you’ll ever plan! Having planned a wedding and photographed nearly 100 now I have learnt a thing or two about how to make sure you enjoy every minute of it. Here are a couple of bits of advice that I give to my couples……..

1) At some point during your evening party take 10 mins on your owns and just get yourself on the outside looking in and people watch. Enjoy the results of your 18 months of hard work and just be present with each other. Weddings can be busy days and literally everyone says how quick they go so just take 10 with each to slow down for a few minutes.

2) plan slightly longer for your portrait photos. Even if you’re nervous about them trust me they alway end up being a relaxed and fun part of the day where you just get to enjoy each others company in the first few minutes and hours of being married without any pressure to mingle with your guest ( not the mingling isn’t awesome but having time to yourselves is important too)

3) Book me to photograph your wedding 😉
