"We knew from the second we spoke with him, he was our guy. He was so laid-back… in the nicest possible way, we barely noticed he was there, but he got the most incredible shots. His pictures really tell a story.”
“Dan, thank you so much for all your hard work and the most beautiful photos… they reflect our wedding day perfectly.”
"Dan, thank you so much for being everything we wanted in a wedding photographer. Anyone looking for a wedding photographer, get Dan there for the whole day. You will not regret it."
Dan Tomkins Wedding Photography was born out of a genuine love for people and the happy, joyful moments in life. After years working for the NHS, and now raising a young family of my own, wedding photography is a fantastic creative outlet. It’s an opportunity for me to tell people’s stories. For now. For then.
I've been described as easy going, hard-working and nice to deal with. My laid-back approach to wedding photography shows, and so you can expect natural, relaxed, documentary style photos to look back on with joy.
Your wedding day will fly by, so my goal is to capture the loud, quiet and the ‘blink and you’ll miss them’ moments for you to treasure. I’m an unflappable people person who can have a laugh and blend into the crowd. The result? Relaxed, candid and natural wedding photos you’ll love for years to come.
I love weddings. The people, the ceremony and the soppy bits. Everybody dressing up. Those brilliant, unexpected moments of joy and laughter. Amazing food and drink. The music. The party. Telling the unique story of your day. It’s the best job in the world.
Travel-inspired details and heartfelt surprises made my ‘Win Your Wedding Photography’ competition couple, Sophie and Ross’s Hazel Gap Barn wedding, truly unforgettable. Can you imagine winning a full-day wedding photography package? That would mean a HUGE part of the wedding planning taken care of without dipping into your budget, freeing up more money to spend […]
