Frequently Asked Questions

Questions?

I am often asked about how weddings are run so I hope this collection of answers will help you. If your question still isn’t answered then please contact me here and I will be very happy to help.

 I've got you!

What should we expect from you?

I believe that your wedding photography journey is so much more than just the big day! I will be there for you throughout the entire time from booking through to the big day and beyond when you want to design your albums or arrange those first wedding anniversary gifts!

Where are you based and how far will you travel?

Can we get married elsewhere and have our reception at Came?

I am based in the West Midlands which has the huge advantage of not being too far from most places within the UK. I will travel anywhere in the UK or abroad. For UK weddings no travel expenses are charged for anyone up to 3 hours away.

How do we book?

You can book via my contact form. Let's arrange a zoom chat and discuss all of your needs and wants. Once I have received your 25% deposit and signed contract I am officially locked in as your wedding photographer!

How Early do we need to book?

I am committed to providing the best service to my couples and with this in mind I only take on a limited number of weddings each year. It's the worst having to disappoint couples once I'm booked so please get in touch to check my availability as soon as possible. My diary opens 2 years in advance.

How long do we have to wait for our photos?

I aim to deliver your full gallery within 6-8 weeks of your wedding. In addition to this I will send you some beautiful sneak peek photos within 7 days of your I do's.

Do we need a second photographer?

Second photographers are a great way to get more coverage of your wedding. If you have a big wedding or you love all of those candid moments then a second photographer will ensure that you get the most comprehensive coverage of your wedding day.

It is also great for multi location weddings and if you want to capture both partners' morning preparations. If you are on the fence about a second photographer then get in touch and we can chat some more.

How are our photos kept safe?

This is one of those forgotten about elements but is super important and in my opinion the first question you should ask every wedding photographer! In a nutshell, I always keep at least 3 copies of your photos (2 hard copies and a cloud backup). On the day I have two camera bodies and a spare in my bag and all of my cameras save to 2 memory cards. The first thing I do when I get home is back up your photos and I keep everything on a hard drive until your gallery is delivered.

How many photos will we receive?

It will depend on certain factors such as the size of your wedding, the number of hours coverage and if you opt for a second photographer or not but typically I will deliver 500-700 beautifully edited images.
